Windham is 25 minutes away and the drive is beautiful and through the mountains. In the summer they have golf, and fishing, the Windham Walking Trail and events on Windham Mountain. The town has a great Italian deli and a small movie theater and restaurants

The Yellow Deli is open all week, except for Saturday, and serves fun breakfasts and lunches. July 31 is the Oak Hill Festival with these shops and local farmers displaying greens, flowers and the like.
