International Rose Test Garden

This is an easy access, gorgeous waterfall about 40 miles (or 45 minutes) away but it is WELL worth the drive! There are hiking trails if you'd like, but its not a long walk from your car to the lower falls. There is a shop at the base with roasted nuts and hot cocoa! (the coffee there wasn't great in my opinion). You can grab a post card or a magnet (or whatever!) inside of the gift shop there. There are also bathrooms.

Multnomah Falls station

If you walk up Buck, take the first left, then the first right, there is a staircase at the top of the hill. The staircase leads to another neighborhood, but it's also a shortcut to get to get to the park! You can walk the neighborhood and walk down Skyline Drive for some beautiful views of the mountains, and Wilderness Park will be on your right. It's probably about a mile and a half from the house with some good hills. It's a great walk for views, nature and getting a good dog walk in!
