Voted best Mexican restaurant in the entire state of Connecticut in 2021! Crazy enough, the name of the restaurant might have been a nod to the famous movie starring Jack Nicholson, 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'. The founding owner, Jim Fitzpatrick, wanting to test his luck of the Irish and open a Mexican joint! 40 years later, Cuckoo's Nest is still in staple in the community.
Indoor and outdoor seating available with a menu with something for everyone. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the dishes, but I personally recommend the street tacos and the 'taco truck' burrito!
