Just north of Asheville is the great little town of Weaverville, NC. Weaverville boast some superb restaurants and a small town feel, all while being a few minutes from its neighbor to the south.
This guide focuses on Weaverville's food scene which is superb and less touristy than Asheville. There are two main roads to explore dining in Weaverville - Main Street, which has local favorites and tons of charm, and Weaver Boulevard which is more traditional middle America strip malls with chain stores and fast food. There are a couple of more local place on Weaver Boulevard but the best options for foodies are on Main Street.

Voted best pizza in North Carolina (yes, you read that right), Blue Mountain Pizza *and* Brew Pub amazes diners with their perfectly cooked crust, fresh ingredients, and small batch craft beers. The restaurant does take out and eat in, and the dining scene inside is rustic and friendly. The staff is pretty awesome here too!

Breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos, as well as lunch sandwiches are all fresh and tasty.
A second location is in the Biltmore Village area of downtown Asheville. So if you are downtown, you can get the same great fare.

Stoney Knob is one of the top rated restaurants in greater Asheville and there's good reason why. The place has a fun, unpretentious vibe and creative fare that is delicious and fair priced. Nearly every time we pass Stoney Knob Cafe it is busy with diners from near and far.
The place has a 'converted Greek diner' look that carries into the menu as well, but the food is so far above traditional diner food. The waitstaff is also terrific and very Asheville. Gosh, writing this makes me want to go back.
It's one of the closest restaurants to the house and they do pick up if you don't want to dine in.

Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Whole Foods
One of the perks of being near Asheville is that the major food delivery services deliver to our place out on Reems Creek. Try your Uber Eats, DoorDash or other apps to see what you can get. Whole Foods also does delivery which is great if you are staying for a few days. In fact, one cool tip if you are traveling in with a friend is to order Whole Foods while you are driving and arrive with some fresh groceries waiting for you.
Our home is on the fringe of the delivery areas so we do like to tip generously.
