The closest beach to the annex, parking is at Hordle Cliffs car park. About 6 mins drive away. It is a lovely pebbly beach perfect for swimming and doesn't get too crowded. There is a kiosk with ice cream, toilets, drinks and fish and chips.

There is a place not far from here in the forest for walking and paddling for children. Turn to your right from here (coming from Hordle direction) and drive all the way down. There is a little car park at the bottom of the dip. You can go on a lovely walk from here and often see some forest ponies.

There is a little car park at the bottom of the dip. You can go on a lovely walk from here and often see some forest ponies.
There is a crazy golf course for children here, and also a "mini new forest" attraction which is lovely for youngsters. There is a pick your own strawberry field nearby.

Just down the road, a few minutes' walk - so convenient for children. Do bring their bikes if possible - there is also a track with traffic lights, etc for the smaller ones. Lovely space to run around.
