**General Tips**
**If you are hiking we recommend you download the free "Hiking Project" app in the appstore and preload the colorado map. This is a great tool that helps you see all nearby trails and where you are via GPS during your hike.
**Do not start hiking 14ers late in the day. Storms roll through consistently in the afternoon and are subject to hail and lightening (Recommendation to use 14ers.com for trailhead status and tips)
**Fishing requires a local fishing license that can be purchased down the road at Black Diamond Sports or at the Safeway grocery store down in Idaho Springs.
