One of the largest urban parks in North America, Griffith park has some of the most beautiful views and hiking trails. It also has an observatory, from which you can see the Hollywood sign and a birds-eye view of LA. There is also a zoo, and the "old griffith park zoo", an abandoned zoo that has been incorporated into the park. On a beautiful sunny day, you will see lots of people from all over having picnics and hiking the many trails.
