Fantastic restaurant for food, service and drinks. Same owners as Tail Up Goat. Pasta forward - unique dishes with lots of flavor. Pecorino Cake for dessert. Very extensive and interesting wine list.

Closest restaurant to the apartment right out the back gate. Very authentic middle eastern food. A dc institution. Famous for the late Helen Thomas who used to ‘hold court’ in the restaurant. She was a White House reporter who always asked the first question at press briefings. Check out their giant mural of US Presidents on the wall outside.

This is a small residential neighborhood full of beautiful row houses and lots of green space, bordering Rock Creek Park. Very quiet - but nestled between DuPont Circle, Adams Morgan and Woodley Park for lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Kalorama Park is in the middle of the neighborhood. The “triangle” refers to the neighborhood’s border streets - Connecticut Ave, Calvert St and Columbia Rd.
