Love this city. There's Lots of shopping and interesting, beautiful artisans along the Malecon. Pretty crowded on the weekends as it's a destination for Guadalajarians.

This little restaurant is a short 2 minutes away. Try their breakfast salad, quesadilla, Monte Cristo Sandwich. Most orders come with a lovely fresh salad.. don't miss their raspberry vinaigrette dressing.
Scallions, less than 10 minute walk. Their Sunday Buffet is a real treat. great service and food. be sure to say "Lana says Hi".
this is where I live... and love it. my house is at most a 15 min. walk to Everything. 3 minutes to the bank, 1 min. to the corner store, 2 to 3 very good restaurants , 5 to 8 to another 5 or more very good restaurants. most know me by name. I'll be happy to recommend the best depending on the cuisine you want that day.
it's an 8 min (slow walk) to the plaza with shops all along the way and a 10 minute walk to the malecone
By the way, there's live dance music somewhere nearly every night.
