The Hovingham Village Market has been running since October 2009, although the first Market in Hovingham predates this and was opened around 1256. Since the first lock-down, the market has gone virtual but plans to re-open shortly. The Hovingham Bakery and Rolling Pin Cafe is open serving freshly baked breads, sweet and savoury treats and light lunch dishes with both Swedish and British influence in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
