Shortcut to San Pedro
UCR is accessible and very nice to walk around through the campus to get to San Pedro for couple of beers. Also very good spot for running.

Local transportation
1. UBER offers a safe service with cheaper prices than taxis.
2. TAXIS are based on time and distance, therefore are MORE expensive.
3. BUSES are easy to use and cheaper, however, it takes more time to transport and are not always very cleaned. During covid season, I don't recommend to use busses.
4. TRAIN can offer a nice local tour to Cartago or Heredia. I'm not really sure about the schedules during Covid season.
5. WALK is nice during the day, not really recommended at night. Avoid walking around with valuable things as that could turn into a possibility to get robbed.
