A larger city a bit longer from our home. By car you can reach Alicante from our home in about 40 minutes. If you find the supply a bit short in Torrevieja Alicante is more of a larger city. This is definitely worth a visit during the afternoon or evening.

In our neighbourhood there is a place called Villamartin Plaza. Here you will find yourself surrounded by pubs and restaurants in an enjoyable atmosphere. From our home it is possible to walk here and back, but it is more comfortable to access this location by your car or a taxi, around 2-3 minutes.

La Mata beach is one of the better beaches in the region. Nearby you will find a decent amount of restaurants, perfect for a break or as an ending to your day at the beach. From our home this is roughly a 10 minute drive.

Also great beach, roughly a 15 minute drive from our home. This beach is excellent for parking, which can be a bit more of a challenge in some other places. This beach also has a broad range of water sports.
