If you're into history, this museum is a must. It's big though, so I recommend starting in the middle if you're more interested in recent history (i.e. after the fall of the Berlin wall)

To get there, either rent a bike from Nextbike (it's a lovely ride through the forest) or take the S-Bahn from Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz to Markkleeberg and walk or take a bus from there (much faster than the suggested connections on G-maps).

To get there, either rent a bike from Nextbike (it's a lovely ride through the forest) or take the S-Bahn from Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz to Markkleeberg and walk or take a bus from there (much faster than the suggested connections on G-maps).
