Mixtli is an Aztec word used for cloud and as the cloud moves around Mexico, it informs what region's cuisine you'll be presented with that evening.
Chefs Rico and Diego always delight as they lean on their passion for food history and raw creativity to deliver a truly splendid love letter to interior Mexican cuisine.
It's my belief that Rico and Diego are the best chefs in the city and are delivering a concept that feels like it couldn't exist anywhere else in America.
This is one of the best restaurants in San Antonio. *mic drop*

The answer to the age old question of "where can I get fantastic oysters in San Antonio?"
Okay, so admittedly not an age old question, but one that you should DEFINITELY know the answer to when visiting San Antonio.
It's intimate. It's Instagramable. And most importantly, the food is amazing. You'll have a fantastic time guaranteed.
I recommend doing cocktails and oysters here and heading somewhere else for a main course.

It's intimate. It's Instagramable. And most importantly, the food is amazing. You'll have a fantastic time guaranteed.

Mon Chou Chou is a fantastic new french restaurant located in the historic Pearl. With a varied and thoughtful wine list and french staples like French Onion Soup, Escargot, Caviar, Duck Confit, and Creme Brulee, you can't go wrong.
Reservations BEFORE your stay is recommended as this place is always booked.
The fantastic thing about going to the Pearl is that it not only hosts some of the best eats, cocktails, and sights in the city. You can walk by the river, do some shopping, and grab a cocktail in one of SAs most incredible historic locations.

Jefferson Bodega is run by former New Yorkers who wanted to bring that bodega life to San Antonio. Their selection is both eclectic and thoughtful, and filled with anything and everything to satisfy the late night munchies. Fantastically curated beer and wine section, imported Japanese goods like candy, ramen and soft drinks, and other unique imported / hard to obtain snacks that will be hard to resist.

I'd recommend going to Dough to out your name down, and going for a little walk to explore this beautiful inner city park.
Finish up at the Paletetia and get some unique SATX sweet eats! If you don't know what a Paleta is, please do yourself a favor and get one before leaving San Antonio.
