This is our local hole in the wall with AMAZING food both quality and quantity. The owners are so very kind and generous. Tell them you are staying at our Airbnb and that you know Nina. They'll treat you like family. Unfortunately the husband, Moses, passed away May 2019. His widow, Narene will serve her last meals August 31st, 2019. Go while you can still meet this lovely woman!

It has the BEST breakfast! Green eggs and ham or the ribs...can't beat them!

Bar none it has the most exquisite food. The wait staff are all very knowledgeable about food sensitivities. Feel safe and eat well. The ambiance is lovely too. Unfortunately this fabulous restaurant burned to the ground. We look forward to it re-opening ASAP!

These are the oven baked best bagels Ottawa has to offer. It used to be Kettleman's but Cadman's still makes them with the same amount of dough that they used to. This bagel is delicious. Get some of their salmon cream cheese...mmmm

These falls are part of the Rideau River system. There is a nice path to walk around that goes over to Money's Bay. If you're lucky you can catch some crazy white water kayakers boofing over the falls!

Take a bike ride along the bike path or grab your skates. The Canal is only 10 minutes away and it is a 10 km skate if you like. You can rent boats at Dow's Lake and paddle the famous Wonder of the World Heritage site.

This is the best route to downtown from where the house is situated. It runs along the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is an efficient way to get to Carleton and Ottawa University as well as the downtown. During the warmer months this road closes on Sundays until 2 PM for Bike Sundays.
