Napanee Conservation Park
20 Pearl StIt's about 15 minutes drive from our cottage. It's a beautiful spot to picnic , water play, or grab french fries off the local truck. Great live music event (live music Sundays) and one of the BEST food trucks around.
Finkle's Shore Park

It's only 12 minutes drive, and there is a nice beach area to swim and play. The UEL Heritage Centre and Park is a mixture of history, camping, and family fun, all in one location. Day-use beach area is suitable for young kids to swim and play. Playground and public washrooms are available. Admission is 5-10 dollars depends on how many people in the car. ($ 5 is for two people)

Mariners Park Museum explores the many ways the inhabitants of Prince Edward County have earned their living from the surrounding waters from fishing and ship building through ice harvesting and rum running. The lighthouse relocated from False Duck Island beckons visitors to the site, where they can also explore Fort Kente and enjoy a picnic in the park. More than 50 shipwrecks have been located in the waters surrounding Prince Edward County and the Mariners Park Museum has become the home of many treasures retrieved during early diving expeditions. Admission by donation.

You need to take a ferry ride($10) over to Amherst Island to get there. You can buy wool blankets and other natural products right at the farm. And, depending on when you come, you may be able to participate in workshops or on-farm events.
