Great authentic, yet inovative Mexican food, 7 minutes from Casa del Sol. I personally love the Agaves Enchiladas filled with shrimp and white fish and if you enjoy Tex-Mex try their Queso Fundido, it is heavenly.

This botanical garden is magical and one-of-a-kind in the world! Lotusland is home to over 3,000 different plants. Located in the foothills of Montecito you must make a reservation to tour their many gardens—Aloe, Australian, Japanese, Bromeliads, Cycad, Cactus, Dracaena, Fern, etc. You often need to book reservations at least 3 weeks in advance, so book this before you go.

Back then we used to call it the funk zone because it was a funky part of town. Because you could sometimes rent cheap old industrial space many artists started renting space here. Then the word slowly got around and, art galleries, wineries and restaurants started cropping up, thanks to the lower rents.
