This is a very large beach and park with amazing views. On a clear day you can see Mount Rainier & the tops of the Cascades. There is space to lay out on the grass and also a great sandy beach area for kids. This park is a 5 minute drive from the house.

Magnuson Park Beach Restrooms
6505 NE 65th StThis is a very large beach and park with amazing views. On a clear day you can see Mount Rainier & the tops of the Cascades. There is space to lay out on the grass and also a great sandy beach area for kids. This park is a 5 minute drive from the house.
This is a lovely lake to walk around in any season. You can also rent paddle boards & boats during the summer. All the way around it there are restaurants & coffee shops. On a Saturday you can also find a very eclectic variety of "Seattle People"!

This trail is much closer to my house than it notes on the map. From my house go down Bartlett & go right across the cross walk on Sand Point Way. Then curve your way down the BIG hill to the right and you will run into the trail. It's GREAT to go for a run, walk or bike ride on!

This is a really nice outdoor shopping area. It also has some great places to grab a bit to eat or get a treat! It also has a covered outdoor play structure that's great for kids!
