Reached by a 30-minutes’ drive from Gisborne, Rere Falls and Rere Rock Slide is a 60m rock where you can slide down a hill on a piece of cardboard or any replacement. This place is full of fun for you and your kids!

Reached by a 30-minutes’ drive from Gisborne, Rere Falls and Rere Rock Slide is a 60m rock where you can slide down a hill on a piece of cardboard or any replacement. This place is full of fun for you and your kids!
Drive time 40-45 mins from town. Allow half an hour to walk to the end of Tolaga Bay wharf and back. At 660 metres in length, this is no ordinary pier. Locals love the wharf because it's part of Tairawhiti history, and because it's a most excellent place to catch a fish.
