In Spring and Summer the seating is outside under pergolas of peony, wisteria and roses, gravel underfoot and lovely french wrought iron chairs (with cushions) and tables. Owner, who is in the kitchen and does rounds at the tables, speaks fluent English.

One of the few bakeries where we can trust that almost everything (if not everything) is prepared and baked onsite, with care. This is our favourite bakery for French viennoiseries for breakfast.

Cafe de la Poste has a bar, a terrace restaurant and a small dining room in the back, on the right hand side. I like dining in the small dining room for the cosiness of it in cooler months and the privacy of dining with fewer people also appeals to me. The terrace part of the restaurant in obviously much bigger and airy, for those that prefer this type of dining. The bar was renovated in 2017 I think, it is clean and spacious.
