This has some lovely shops and is historical, has been used in a wide range of films over the years. Well worth a day out. Good shops to browse.

This is lovely place to visit, lovely individual shops with cafes and the beach front is nice to walk along. They also have a Pavilion which is well worth a visit. We have enjoyed many days out visiting this place.

This is the closest place to go buy your everyday shopping. This is part of a shopping mall complex, great parking. Also easy access to South Harbour with lovely restaurants and cafes. Local marina.

This lovely Bakers offer breakfast and lunches, dog friendly.
We have enjoyed great meals here and the bread if baked locally. Cheeses too. Would highly recommend a visit to this.

City/town information
The prom and bandstand are great to visit, along with the pier. The Eastbourne Airshow is set up along the prom here. Great markets too with highly individual market stalls. Even a Chocolate stall run by Spanish who offer their unique Hot Chocolate and Chorros. The town itself is well worth a visit. The shopping centre and all the local cafes and specialty foods.
The walks along the prom takes you from Sovereign Harbour to the Holy Well .
Eastbourne Tennis Club which hosts the big Women's Tournaments, pre Wimbledon matches. You can book directly with them to see the matches of your choice.
There are several art galleries, and theatres to visit and watch entertainment for all the family

The number 99 bus will take you into town and also out to Bexhill and Hastings. It stops just outside the Holiday park and is normally a reliable service.

pet friendly and chid friendly
Most of the cafes outside the malls will accept you dog with you. Just be aware that not all customers are pet friendly. I have taken my pets to town a few times and they have been fine. Just be aware that not everyone is dog friendly. Also children are welcome, well behaved and supervised are very welcome.

Eastbourne Airshow
Book at the local Tourist Centre or Online for an opportunity of a lifetime to see the Airshow. We went a few years ago it was amazing. The planes are incredible the people were very friendly and helpful. Granted that year it was lovely and sunny and warm, we had a picnic on the beach and the dogs really enjoyed it too. We recommend a visit to this when it is on. Check the local Whats on guide for Eastbourne for more great ideas of what you can do when you come stay at the Pevensey Bay
