The most helpful ski shop around. They may look like they cater to the racing crowd, but they do the best work around. If you boots are not comfortable, be sure to stop in and see Paul to get them worked on. The tune shop can work wonders on your skis. They have started carrying back country gear, so check them out for that also.

This shop has everything you need for your back-country adventures. The place to go in Summit County if you are headed into the back country for skiing or going uphill skiing at one of the resorts. They have everything you will need.

Mountain Biking Trail
The closest mountain biking to the condo. Hop on your bike and ride out to the stoplight at Hwy 6 and Lake Dillon Drive. Cross highway 6 and take the first right. Climb the hill and you will be at the trailhead just past the water tank (the toughest part of the ride is over). From here ride out the ridge, and head back down the hill at the Frisbee golf course, where the road turns 90 degrees to the right, take the trail on the left under the highway to the bike path. Ride the bike path back to the condo.

In the summer there are a lot of great bike trails. For beginners, ride the Perimeter trail counter clock wise starting at the visitor center. For more experienced riders, any of the interior trails are fun. Trail maps are available at the visitor centers.
In the winter, this is a great place for cross country skiing and tubing. Also check out the bubble gum races for the kid's.
