Dumbarton Pier
You can fish at this Pier without a fishing license.
If you are traveling with your dog, this is a great dog park to let them run around at. It was built fairly recently so it's in great shape.

If you are going into San Francisco for the day, I recommend taking BART. It is much easier than trying to find parking in the city.
