Fantastic local spot (less than 10 mins drive) for food and / or drink. Plenty of choice, good quality and well priced. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. Vegan / vegeterian and dog friendly too.

Cracking traditional Indian cuisine. The food here is great. Beware, you will need to drive to collect (15 min drive) as they don't deliver to the cabin.

If you're in Porthmadog, this is the place to go. Delicious fish and chips with plenty of rolling specials. Pick something up and head to the harbour for a meal with a view.

Quirky little cafe in Dolgellau (15 mins away) that has a fantastic selection. They do all day breakfast, sandwiches and the most incredible array of freshly made cakes and other sweet treats. if you're a coffee lover this place won't disappoint.

This place is a real hidden gem. Located right on the estuary, the views are stunning with food to match. It's towards Dolgellau so not far at all from the cabin.

Much bigger beach that is home to a fair ground in the summer. Plenty of small shops and places to eat in the town so good for a full day out.

[Easy] Home to a mellow walk where you can see some incredible waterfalls. The terrain and gradient are easy so this is suitable for the youngsters. It's also well sheltered for the wetter days - wet days mean more impressive waterfalls too! Drop me a message for directions and further details.
