Gympie Terrace is a great place to visit, lots of shops, restaurants and Cafe's , great choice of places to eat.
If you have kids their is plenty of swings etc in the park on the water front. If you prefer to spend a few hours on the water you can hire a boat and take the family on an outing on the river.

The Doonan is a brand new venue just 3 minute drive from the cottage. Boasting indoor/outdoor dining, bars, beer garden, a pizzeria, ice creamery, cellar door. Multiple function spaces and a large outdoor grassed area where kids can play, very family friendly.

Lovely place to visit, Cafe, Restaurants located on the marina. If you just want to sit down and have fish and chips try the fish and chip shop located on the Marina.
You can catch the Ferry into Noosa Heads and have a walk around Hastings Street without having to find parking.
Or if you prefer just sit and have an ice cream and watch the world go by.

Emundi Markets are located only 10 minutes from our cottage, market days are Wednesday and Saturdays. Great day out for the family, plenty of variety of goods sold from different stall holder. A great variety of food is sold on the day, plenty of parking around.

The park is home to vulnerable and endangered wildlife, such as the glossy black cockatoo, ground parrot, koala, red goshawk, wallum froglet , swamp orchid and Christmas Bells.

Plenty of shops, cafe's and restaurants to visit, lovely beach but can get busy. Parking is a problem so you are better off parking in the National Park and walking back to Hastings Street.
