A great place to take the kiddos to burn that energy! You can hit the Avondale Shops on the way to or home for food/coffee. Whits (frozen custard to-die-for) is a favorite haunt if the kiddo has been good (or mom and dad just need a sweet treat)!

This is the inside scoop for parents - There is a playground in the back of the church that is AWESOME and is never crowded. It is our go to when Boone Park gets a little too crowded!

On block over at the end of Edgewood Ave there is probably the best swing in the history of swings under a large old oak tree. Our daughter calls it THE BIG SWING and it is quite possible her favorite place. A great pit stop walking to or from dinner with the kids.
