This is our local gym and health club. Facilities are all to a very high standard, with a full size 25 metre swimming pool, well equipped gym, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, creche etc. A day pass is currently £9 for swimming, steam room etc or £14 for full access, including the gym.

This is a lovely pub/ restaurant right on the waterfront. It's more expensive than the other pubs in the area (around £18 for a main meal), but food is good and the setting is ideal.

This pub is on the waterfront, with a private jetty lowered to the level of the water. It's owned Green King and while it's nothing fancy, it is very good value for the area - main meals are around £10 and you can buy a pint for £3.50. They have cinema screenings and live music - details available on the website

This is an incredibly grand palace, built by Henry VIII for one of his favourite advisors. You pay to get in, but this really is worth a visit if you're interested in history.
