This establishment is well-loved amongst the Portuguese community and for good reason. The BBQ meats are excellent. We recommend the Beef Espetada (skewer). It is only available for dine-in. Silvas do not have a website. They are located at 82-86 New Canterbury Rd Petersham. Important to note they are closed on Mondays.

Parks & Nature
Historic and picturesque Petersham Park is just around the corner. The cricket oval at the centre of the park is used for cricket in the summer months and baseball over winter. Cricket legend Donald Bradman scored his first century in grade cricket at Petersham Park as an 18 year old.
As well as the oval there is a fantastic children’s playground, a nearby BBQ and picnic area and the Fanny Durack Aquatic Centre. The playground and BBQ area is popular with locals over summer for children’s birthday parties and get-togethers.
