City/town information
San Juan offers a great look into the world of weaving using natural dyes. There are several weaving collectives that will show you how they dye the threads and what plants are used. There are also wonderful murals painted around town. You can take a boat over and walk up the hill and into town. Also tuk drivers who are happy to guide you to some of the collectives. There is a mirador which is a challenging hike if you are up for some exercise!
