New owners took this place over just as the lockdowns began. They've been through a lot and come out strong with a smile on their faces. If you're looking for a spot for a few drinks or easy meal, I'd highly recommend this place. And its 2 outdoor areas are dog friendly too!

For something a bit different, African Taste is well worth a try! Delicious Ethiopian food within walking distance. Or if you want to wonder a bit further, there are many amazing Ethiopian restaurants in Footscray too.

Outdoors (dog friendly)
Possibly the most fun park in the area, Cruickshank has been transformed by locals in recent decades from a dark and dirty wild patch to a beautiful and interactive park. It's dog friendly, but note that dogs have to be on-lead between 8-10am and 3-5pm as there's a school nearby.

22 Wilkins StPossibly the most fun park in the area, Cruickshank has been transformed by locals in recent decades from a dark and dirty wild patch to a beautiful and interactive park. It's dog friendly, but note that dogs have to be on-lead between 8-10am and 3-5pm as there's a school nearby.
This is the closest off-lead dog park to walk to. The whole bottom section of Yarraville Gardens is off-lead all the time and attracts a busy crowd at about 8am and 4pm.
