While this place is kind of a ride across town, it is worth the trip. reservations are a MUST. The food is incredible! I recommend the mussels, the Kalamazoo, salad and you MUST try all desserts. Their Mocktails are out of this world. And of course their are known for their stone oven pizza, but I suggest all the above.

A little ways north but a gorgeous spot with lots of drift wood. Place a stone on the feet of the Coast Salish sculpture. It was a place of trade and has a magical quality. We are living on Duwamish occupied land. Honor this place .

Green lake is a quick drive away from my house. It’s a paved flat 3 mile loop trail. Swimming in the lake is recommended. It’s is relatively clean since there are no boats allowed. Beautiful , gigantic cedars along the path

Landscaping is amazing, you never feel like you are in a relatively small area. Nearby is Green lake for a nice 3 mile flat walk, the neighborhood around it is full of beautiful old housing stock and gardens.

This place is amazing for biking and walking. A short drive toward downtown with ample parking. From there walk toward the sculpture park and the Seattle waterfront. You could also bring a picnic.
If you rent bikes you can easily bike from my house via the locks to downtown, through the park!
