Located right in our private community, you can walk there from our house! Take your kayak, paddle board or canoe. Bring your fishing poles or a chair and a good book! There is also a small playground right beside the lake and a pavilion for picnics.

Waterfalls
Just 3.5 miles south of High Falls Gorge on Route 86 is Monument Falls.
This five-foot drop in the Ausable River can be accessed by a number of short trails off 86.
From Lake Placid, travel on Route 86 for 4.4 miles. You'll see a parking lot on the left, and once you park there, you'll see the falls are just beyond the lot.
