This neighborhood just south of downtown has a bunch of real good restaurants. I guess you would call it the foodie neighborhood. Sort of hipster vibe meets progressive professional vibe. Goodkind is my favorite restaurant there.

Hiking
This is big park right on Lake Michigan. Lots of hiking to be had here. Nice beach, but not super sandy. Great place to skip stones into the Great Lake. Great place for picnic on the water. It’s about a 7 minute drive from the house.

1870 E Fox LnThis is big park right on Lake Michigan. Lots of hiking to be had here. Nice beach, but not super sandy. Great place to skip stones into the Great Lake. Great place for picnic on the water. It’s about a 7 minute drive from the house.

This park is a 7 minute drive or a 20 minute bike ride down the oak leaf trail. It has a beer garden right on the river. Frisbee golf coarse. Dog park. And farmers market Sundays

This park is a short bike ride or walk from the house. It has a nice waterfall to sit by. Real nice hiking along the river and through the woods. Even has a nice mountain bike trail and an archery spot.
