One of the most sensational meals you will ever have! recently taken over by a young couple from Paris, big things are already being whispered for this incredible place - a Michelin star is very likely. a small dining room where you will be wowed by a degustation menu featuring local produce and incredible flavour combinations, all matched with local organic wines - true artistry.

Pezenas is a short 10 minute drive. we highly recommend wandering through the old part of town before sampling one of the many artisan ice creameries! the Pezanas Saturday market is an absolute must. clothing, local produce, organic goods and all manner of delicious food. arrive around 8.00 - 8.30 to get a park and beat the crowds!

a beautiful town very close to Neffies. cobbled streets and an ancient boulangerie - see I you can find the old stone sign! a good playground for kids too.

swim in crystal clear cold mountain stream that runs down the Gorge de Colombiere. we recommend hiking to the very top where there is a large waterhole/waterfall (see our photos) you will have to yourself if you arrive about 10am (when it starts heating up in summer).

we highly recommend the Lodeve market on Saturday. highlights include fresh cut wildflowers from Salagou and vintage French workwear for super cheap. finish up with lunch in the laneways at Minuscule for a great day.

the Wednesday market at Clermont L'Herault is amazing for food... check out the organic croissants! you can also get Turkish style beach towels (actually made in Tunisia) quite cheaply here. if you hit them just before high season in March/April, you might score them for less than 10 euro each.

If you like thrift shopping, you will LOVE Emmaus. it is a homeless charity that has the biggest network of thrift stores in France. great for furniture, clothing and vintage decorative pieces. look out, you might need a shipping company after a visit here!

Excellent wine section with local French wines - great value, you don't have to spend more than 5 euro to get a good bottle. a good selection of organic wines too.
