Lake Borumba is stocked for fishing and has a new launching ramp and boat parking. Ask the owner of Borumba Fishing and Outdoors shop in Imbil for expert information. The lake is suitable for power boats, jet skis, water-skiing, canoes, sups and kayaks, it also has a small beach. The picnic area has undercover seating and a lovely view of the lake.

Parks & Nature
Tough but rewarding, the climb becomes steeper as you progress to the top, some all fours may be required but there is steel staircases, a metal chain and rock footholds that take you to 75 meters from the summit. At the top you are rewarded with some stunning 360 degree views of the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland. A moderate degree of fitness is needed. Some climbers get up in 20+min and others 60min. Pace yourself and you'll be fine. Remember to take lots of water, and enjoy the exercise and surrounding nature.

Each weekend (Fri, Sat & Sun) the cellar doors are open from 11am for wine tastings and offer a home cooked menu to be enjoyed on the covered timber decking overlooking Mt Cooroora and the vineyard. One of those special places you find and you’re not sure whether to spread the news how wonderful it is or keep it to yourself! Thoroughly recommend the wine tasting which was informative and fun. The ploughman platters and buffalo wings were perfect for laid back grazing and chatting. Definitely date worthy.
