We are so lucky to have this world-class restaurant right in our village. It is a foodie heaven and the place where you'll see locals and tourists alike. The decor is fun and inviting, the service is always warm and welcoming, and the food is 5 star. Favorites: any sort of scallop dish, local oysters, burrata salad...hard to choose! Menu changes daily, but the quality never does. (8 minute walk from house)

Milagro Cafe
142 Water StI have lived in Mexico and I adore Mexican food, and this place is 100% authentic. They recently renovated, so there is upstairs section now. The vibe is fun and bright and the food is muy muy bien! Favorites; enchiladas verde, seared fish tacos, cactus salad. And the margaritas are best around.
Right around the corner from us is the former Velvet Mill that now houses amazing artisans, stores, a brewery, bakery and restaurants. Whitecrest is a total gem. The food is city-quality and inspired by whatever is local and in season. There's always such creative cocktail and food menu, and it's great to be in the Mill. (4 minute walk from house)

Happy hour is daily and is such a great deal and scene. Menu is exactly what you want at seaside restaurant and the view wins. Great spot! (12 minute walk)

Our favorite Thai (tho pink basil is good too). It’s in Pawcatuck, just about a 8 minute drive. You can eat it or take out. Closed on Wednesdays.
