Great place--has everything! Delicious brunch, great cafe and coffee, great dinner, outdoor seating, friendly staff, and really nice ambience. One of my go-tos! Try the chicken and waffles!

Fairly pricey, but the food is out of this world. The owner's wife does all the cooking herself. It's a little gem.

Awesome Irish pub and restaurant. I love the staff here and such a chill vibe. Food is a bit overpriced but it's delicious if you're in the mood for a burger, or fish and chips, etc.

Sightseeing
This is a set of apartment buildings along the Hudson River. It's a private community, so you're not supposed to walk on the grounds, but I've done it a few times and never been asked to leave! It's really beautiful and has phenomenal views, especially at sunset!

This little park has a special place in my heart as my kids have been playing at the playground there since they were babies. A great place to get a feel for the neighborhood vibe. It's not the prettiest park, but it's much loved and much used. Fun fact: It's the highest point in all of Manhattan! It's also referenced in the movie/musical In the Heights!

The 181st/184th St subway stop (A train) is very close by!
From there you can get just about anywhere in the city. For example, take the A train downtown to get to Times Square (where Broadway shows are, etc.) in about 40 minutes!

Strollers and the subway
If you want to avoid carrying strollers on any stairs, walk south to the 175th St A train subway stop! They have elevators all the way down to the platform.

Parking
The parking in the neighborhood is hit or miss--really depends on whether folks are away. If you can't find a spot, there are 2 garages within walking distance: one at 200 Cabrini Blvd. and another one at 360 Cabrini Blvd.
