Wendy loves Atlas Divine and Elroy for clothes, Remedy for gifts, Oxford Books – all on Oxford St – and Sayers Food on Carr Place for coffee/brunch. The Meatball Bar is not what you’d expect, offering “balls” of all description including vegetarian ones! Pinchos has a selection of great value tapas/small plate items. For a deli that delights, we both love The Re Store 231 Oxford St for amazing take home cheeses, continental produce and wines.

The Scarborough Beach Road strip is a smaller, more upmarket version of Leederville with a nice village-y feel. Diabolik is Allan’s favourite shop – great gifts, books, vinyl. Wendy likes a drink or a meal at the Paddo (very popular pub) with a vast number of beers on tap. The smaller, quieter The Oxford (corner of Oxford & Anzac) is also a great pub for food and drinks. Spritz Pasta has been getting great reviews and we love dinner at Neighborhood Pizza, Anvil Lane (evenings only).

Has 2 covered children's playgrounds. Beach is patrolled by Surf Lifesavers during summer and a short nature walkway at far right of carpark connects City and Floreat Beaches.
