Ancient forest close to the flat. Great for walks.

Kings Cross is a lovely area. Lots of canals to walk along. Regenerated industrial buildings. Dishoom is brilliant for brunch- the eggs and bacon naan is my favourite. There are 4 Dishoom restaurants across London.

London has excellent museums which you can enter for free donations are encouraged if you enjoy).

Using public transport
You can travel around London easily on public transport. You get a good price just by using your credit/debit card- use the same card all day and the total you pay will be capped at the same price as a day travelcard.
