A nice park overlooking Lake Brophy and North Union Lake. The park has a fully accessible playground. a fire pit, dock, overlook benches, primitive trails for hiking & mountain biking, public beach and direct access to the Central Lakes Trail. In the winter, enjoy a groomed sledding hill, fat tire biking and cross country ski trails.

The Central Lakes Trail is a former railroad route turned into a paved bike trail that runs 55 miles total through 3 counties and 10 communities. The trail spans from the city of Fergus Falls, runs through the beautiful Alexandria lakes area and ends in the city of Osakis, where it connects to the Lake Wobegon Trail. Trail users will enjoy the many differing landscape views ranging from dozens of lakes, open grassland & prairie, wetlands, farmland, and forested rolling hills. Cruise by 9 lakes within a 4-mile radius of Alexandria’s Downtown trailhead! You have direct access to the trail from this cabin.
