Towns to visit!
The historic village of Marburg, 15 minutes west of Ipswich, takes visitors back in time to an era when the town was the bustling hub of the local area.
Marburg is our local town just a few minutes drive away from Twigley Farm. You will find the local pub, antiques stores, an events hall, food mart, chemist, post office and a few small coffee shops!

Lowood is about 15 minutes drive from Twigley Farm. It is a classic country town with a few hidden gems!
Visit Pete's Hobby Nursery for a great selection of native plants! At the end of street you will find a walking path that Pete has planted out all with native plants. It is absolutely amazing!
For cafes we recommend Coffee At The Park!
Don't forget to stop in at one of Lowood's many bakeries!

Just under an hour away is Scenic Rim Farm Shop. Visit for a walk through the gardens, stop in at their artisan deli & flower shop and make a picnic under the trees. A beautiful spot to visit on the weekend while town hoping! Check socials for specials events.

While town hopping definitely stop in at Kalbar. At the end of the street you will find a converted post office retro lolly shop and lots of beautiful heritage buildings. Make sure to have brunch at Lovetts.

Just 20 minutes away is Fernvale. If you're a pie lover head to Fernvale Bakery for their award winning pies.
Just before Fernvale in Glenmorgenvale is The Bottletree Pub. Head here for an authentic country pub experience.
