Try Mosswood Farm Store and Bake House (take out). It is wonderful, try their frittatas and salted caramel brownies. The Old Florida Cafe is another place to enjoy with shady oaks and inside and outside dining (Their cuban sandwiches are yummy).
Micanopy has a place in history with two, not yet totally located forts (Drane and Russell)nearby, and stories of Seminole Indian skirmishes.
The movie Doc Hollywood with the actor Michael J. Fox was filmed here. The town is off the beaten path and an interesting place to explore. Enjoy!
