Turn to the right at the top of Sentinel Road will take you past fish and chips, lunch bar, pizza, good convenience store and post office
Jervois Road
Jervois Road Is the road at the top of Sentinel Road and runs from Ponsonby to Herne Bay. Along its length towards us is an eclectic range of shops and cafes. Herne Bay
These shops are at the top of our road. The shops cover a full range of shops, grocer, local 7 day convenience shop, cafes, takeaways, liquor and pharmacy The bus stop for the city CBD is there too.

Sightseeing
Catch the ferry at the bottom of Queen St in the CBD and enjoy a 25min ride across the harbour. The trip takes you past the busy Auckland port and container wharf, and the naval base. Devonport is a beautiful little village with a wonderful selection of cafes and restaurants. The energetic may wish to walk up the main street and then walk up to the summit of Mt Victoria for beautiful 360 degrees of Auckland City, the harbour and gulf. You could also walk along King Edward Parade to North Head for more panoramic views.
The ferry trip is also well worth doing on a clear evening too.

Devonport

The trip out and back takes you past Browns Island, Rangitoto Island, Motuihe Island and Motutapu Island all of which are part of our iconic Hauraki Gulf which has been the playground and training ground of so many of our world renowned yachtsmen.

250 Mount Eden RdThis is the highest point on the Auckland isthmus at 196m or 643ft and gives commanding views over the city. This extinct volcano was created about 28,000 years ago. It is a good walk to the summit but the view is worthy of the effort. (Good walking surface)
Tamaki Drive begins at Judges Bay, by the container terminal and runs along the waterfront to St Heliers Bay. This is almost 8kms of spectacular views across the harbour to Devonport and Rangitoto. Along the route there are ample points of interest, like Kelly Tarltons Sea Life Aquarium, shops and cafes. For those who enjoy to exercise it is a flat paved walk or there are cycles for hire in the summer season.

Between 5am and midnight they leave every 10-15mins, trip time approx 55mins and costs $NZ18.00/person then from the city suggest you take a taxi to the apartment $NZ13.00-$NZ20.00. Taxi from airport to apartment, we suggest you use "Cheap Taxis" Phone +64 9 621 0505, cost from Airport to Apartment appox $45.00, we recommend booking prior to arrival.
