You have a few options depending on your mood when visiting Mr. Lyon's. They have a formal dining room (white table cloths, large booths) where you can make reservation ahead of time. Palm Springs Visitors Center is at the North end of town as Hwy 111 turns into Palm Canyon. It is at the bottom of the entrance to the Palm Springs Aerial Tram. The visitor center is an old gas station building. It is a prime example of modernist architecture. Stop by and take your picture with the iconic Palm Springs sign and San Jacinto Mountains backdrop!

This is within walking distance with a large selection of beer, wine and alcohol. Wine is kind of hidden in the back of the store up the ramp. This is a good place to purchase ice if needed.
