The square is a great place and the place everyone meets up. There's a lot of step/wall type things to sit on whilst waiting and obviously you have the view of the old, wonderful buildings which surround the square. Nottingham is a really enjoyable place to share with friends, family, couples or on your own. Almost every weekend is an event here or show to attend, most of them for free. In spring and summer it is lovely when the musicians play their instruments during the sunset.

Old Market Square (Slab Square)
The square is a great place and the place everyone meets up. This is truly a wonderful day out beautiful surroundings lovely new park and plenty of car parking spaces even though it would be just as easy to get on a tram which will take you straight outside as you do have to pay for parking but the rest of this experience is totally free you can not say that about many places this days .
