This place is always busy, but they offer top notch quality baked goods and drinks. It's a 8-10 minute walk from our house. Our favorites are the Tahoe Sunrise Tea, Cappuccino, Gelato, Avocado Toast, Quinoa Bowl...and any baked good.

Closest park to our house! Just walk down Monroe, past Arlington and you will be there in 5 minutes. Get out and enjoy our lovely weather. Basketball courts, Huge grassy field, and a jungle gym play area for kids.

Walk about 15- 20 minutes towards the Downtown truckee river. If it's summer you can take a dip in the water--watch the river height, as some years it can be a little dangerous for little ones. Bring or rent a tube and float through various sections of the river...or just stroll right alongside the river, stopping to eat, drink, shop.

Bring or rent a tube and float through various sections of the river...or just stroll right alongside the river, stopping to eat, drink, shop.
