DLB is a restaurant/bar that doesn't close until 2 am. They serve a full menu until 10 pm and tacos until 1:30 am. Love, love, love the fresh taco ingredients: fresh lime juice, finely diced red onions, cilantro—YUM! It's a budget-watcher's best friend at $3.25/taco. They have outstanding guacamole made from fresh avocados and they make their own key lime pie from scratch. Daily happy hour specials! Open till 2am.

Citizen Burger Bar comes to RVA from Charlottesville. The restaurant is immediately behind us on Cary Street and boasts beef from local farm Timbercreek. Burgers are good, and the sweet potato fries too. Their vegan beet burger is DELICIOUS. Haven't had a chance to try anything else yet but onion rings are supposed to be good. Service is outstanding and you'll be paid great attention to by friendly and hospitable staff. They have an outdoor patio that's fantastic to enjoy breezy afternoons and people watching in Carytown.
