Getting Around and Public Transport

Public transport in Brisbane includes buses, trains and ferries (such as our CityCats). See the Translink website (translink.com.au) for information, journey planners and fares. To travel on public transport, locals use a GO card. Paper tickets can be purchased onboard buses and ferries using cash or from ticket offices and fare machines using cash, eftpos or credit card. Visitors and tourists can purchase GO seeQ or Go Explore cards.

Morningside Train Station

Its just a 500 metre walk from our unit to Morningside Train Station with trains to city taking around 25min including walking time. Morningside is on the Cleveland line. You can also use the station's overpass to walk the shortest route to the various Morningside restaurants and shops along Wynnum Rd.

Closest bus stop just a 4 minute walk or 280m from the unit with buses travelling toward the city. This bus stop is on the opposite side of the street from the unit. Servicing the 214, 215 or 220 bus routes (at time of print).

Cannon Hill interchange station

Large bus exchange located at the front of Cannon Hill Shopping Complex. In addition to regular and express services to the city there are routes running east to the bay suburbs, and the great circle route (598 or 599) to all major shopping centres in Brisbane including Carindale Shopping Centre to the south or over the Gateway Bridge to DFO (Direct Factory Outlet) near the Airport to the north.

Local Doctors, Medical Centres and Dentist

There are three local Doctor's surgeries. If you are in need of a dentist, try Richmond Road Dental just down the road on the corner of Richmond Rd and Molloy Rd streets.
