You can sit outside and order from the patio bar if you don't want to wait for a table. Inside has pricy dining, but the food is delicious! The view is fantastic! Or just buy a quart of clam chowder in the store at the front of the restaurant & bring it back to your private room, where you can heat it up in the microwave. No need for crowds or waiting for a table! This is a great place to ride your bike to, but don't forget your wallet.

Deli style sandwiches, they bake their own bread daily. The molasses bread is my favorite! All kinds of sandwiches, sometimes live music outside. The pastrami & Swiss is oh so yummy!

You can ride your bike right along the beach & ocean cliffs. In the morning there is fog lifting from the ground. See beautiful wild flowers & smell the ocean! Bikes are for rent in Half Moon Bay. The trail starts just 2 blocks from the cottage.

The trails start at the end of our street! You can hike just a 1/2 mile loop that starts at one end of the street and ends up at the park just a block away, or go all the way to Montara Mountain several miles away. See the ocean & harbor views from lookout point up in the hills.

Since the shifting of sand last year, this beach is no longer easy to get onto. There are a couple of other Miramar beaches which are easier to walk onto located just south of the bridge and South of Miramar restaurant. You can park in the neighborhood during the day and walk down the coastal trail to the beach trail. Santa Rosa is a good street to park on.

This beach is so nice, I love the coarse sand here! There is a lot of steps down to the beach so not good for disabled folks. But, I have brought my mom here and she was content to sit in the car at the top of the cliff and watch/listen to the waves. The waves get big here, so not a good place for swimming. But it's a great place to walk on the beach if you want a pretty good workout.
