Finish your meal with an "Amarguinha" - a chilled almond liqueur on ice with a dash of lemon - they make a particularly good one here! Take a towel and swimming trunks to catch some sun on the beach before or after your meal. A dip in the Atlantic is always recommended to bring vitality back to your bones!

A touch of class. Casa Gallega is one of the best restaurants in Paço de Arcos / Oeiras (and in the Lisbon-Cascais direction). Very good fish, good professional & very efficient staff, comfortable seating.
Their paella is famous...but you need to make a reservation for having it, as they will not have it available if you just come in and order it (it takes too long to prepare).
This is NOT a cheap restaurant, but you are guaranteed a very pleasant meal experience

Partly owned by actor John Malkovich, this is Lisbon's hippest club and considered one of the best clubs in Europe. Downstairs is a frenzied dance floor while the top floor has a more relaxed vibe. Gay friendly.
It is probably one of my favorite places in the area. Situated right on the seafront is the perfect place to catch up on a wonderful terrace while eating a super big toast that clearly would be enough for two :) The staff is always very friendly and the service is very fast. In winter they have the best hot chocolate in the world and so that is why it's the most visited places in winter. There are 3 choices and my favorite is without a doubt the thick one that comes with a spoon to eat / drink without haste while the rain falls outside and the conversations linger in the afternoon.

Take a different perspective of Lisbon home with you.

Tokyo and Jamaica became trendy and Pensão Amor was considered the “Next big thing!”. Like a freight train, Cais do Sodré was renewed: small cosy places like Sol e Pesca or Pensão Amor were getting lots of good buzz. The area is crowded with people leaving Bairro Alto as bars close earlier there while here some of them are open until morning! It’s crowded even on weekdays. Everything has changed for the good. On top of that, Rua Nova do Carvalho was painted pink, so you can’t miss it! That’s the revenge of the ugly duckling.

In the Tagus Region, Oeiras Yachting Harbour is the only marina that has achieved the Blue Flag for seven consecutive years. This award attribution is from the Blue Flag European Association (BFEA) – FEE Portugal responsibility and is supported by the European Commission. According to the Blue Flag Association, 14 marinas have received this award: two in the Tagus Region, three in the Alentejo, four in Algarve, three in the Azores and two in Madeira.

The space is beautiful and very useful. Running and riding tracks, an exercise park with equipment, football courts and a large play ground for kids. There are usually ducks in the river and sometimes go-karts to hire too. Lots to do on a lovely day in Oeiras... and just a step away from Lisbon too!

Amazing place to go with amazing horses and a real family atmosphere, the staff are very professional, highly recommend a visit or book up for a riding lesson on thier well schooled horses, .
